The Winter Box is the seasonal set, built around what our winter actually sells: the candle, the oil for the hour after the bath, and the notebook for the things people write down in December. Three recesses in burgundy velvet, and the box is deep enough that it lives on a shelf rather than in a cupboard.
It is the set we photograph for the season and the one that sells out first, which tells us something about our customers and their Decembers. The card inside is the plain-language kind, and the reverse is blank for the giver's sentence.
Why this piece exists
The Winter Box is built once a year around a fact of our sales: December is when the candle, the oil and the notebook all leave together. So we put them in one deep box with burgundy velvet and sell the decision as a single object. It is the set we photograph for the season, and it sells out first, which tells us the customers' Decembers and our stock plan agree.
The build is fresh each November — candle and oil are dated products, and a winter box built in July would arrive half-past its shelf. That is why the listing says 'while stock lasts' rather than 'buy anytime': the box is a seasonal object, and pretending otherwise would be the kind of retail sentence we do not write.

Before giving
The candle and oil are both dated products — if the box is a gift for next winter, tell us and we will build it fresh in November.
Cleaning
Each piece follows its own card; the velvet recesses spot-clean with a barely damp cloth.
Storage
The box is the keepsake storage. Out of direct sun — the velvet and the oil both agree on that.
Long-term
The velvet is the part that records the winter: wear at the recesses, a slightly darker patch where the candle sat, and after the season the box is the shelf-side home of whatever replaced the contents. If you buy it as a gift for next winter, write to us in October — we will build it fresh rather than ship you the one that has been waiting since November, which is the difference between a seasonal set and a warehouse set.
Material safety. Platinum-cured silicone, phthalate-free, non-porous. Clean with warm water and mild unscented soap or a silicone-safe cleanser; avoid alcohol and silicone-based lubricants, which dull a matte finish and can leave a film. Full detail in the materials guide.

Timing
